    Vegan gravy

    RECIPE

    LACTOSA FREE, GLUTEN FREE, SUGAR FREE

    7-9 servings

     

    tsp = tea spoon
    Tbsp = table spoon
    C = 200ml cup

    INGREDIENTS

    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp of rice flour
    1/2c miso broth (1/2c warm water + 1tbsp diluted mugi miso)
    1c hot vegetable milk
    1 tbsp coconut oil
    1c curry
    salt and pepper

    I love gravy; It reminds me of my childhood in England. I still drool when the smooth texture of Yorkshire pudding bathed in gravy comes to mind.

    As an adult I have always looked for a way to make the vegan version of this sauce. Without doubt this recipe is the best of all my versions.

    This recipe is quick, tasty and extremely easy!  I serve it with my vegan shepherd’s pie, sauteed veggies or my Christmas Nut Roast! And of course Yorkshire pudding!

    The main ingredients in this recipe are organic and therapeutic. On the one hand, we have coconut oil to activate metabolism, anti-inflammatory turmeric and unpasteurized miso to regenerate our intestinal flora.

    Preparation

    Heat the oil, add the flour and toast for half a minute.
    Add the miso broth and milk while continuing to stir.
    Mix in the coconut oil, curry, salt and stir.
    When it begins to thicken, remove from the heat and serve.
