Today, Vanessa Losada, the famous ecochef and culinary stylist, tells us how she got here, her values ​​and the details about her Biocuisine Academy, which already changed the live of almost 300 people.

Vanessa, you are a veteran of the healthy eating business. A renowned name for all of us and a significant ecochef at Biocultura healthy lifestyle fair. Tell us about your experience …

It all started we I finished my master in Fine Arts. At that time my artwork focused on food issues. Spontaneously I began to investigate on the relationship between food and memory. I was interested on the sociological and cultural meaning of food, its relation to women and connection with homely concepts such as  love, commitment, caring and health.

Fascinated with the infinite interconnections that food provides, I began to discover a completely new dimension around it. I wanted to know more, understand more and therefore decided to study holistic nutrition, naturopathy and, over time, phytotherapy.

My first professional project linked to healthy and creative eating was a small deli called Menudavida in Malasaña (Madrid). This first adventure didn’t last long and short after closing we opened up   Sol y Vida, a beach restaurant in Cala Cañuelo (Málaga). It was a very enriching experience tea gave us the opportunity to work on the food concept we would later develop in Madrid.

Back in the city we set up a vegetarian organic catering. We were the first to open a business like this in Madrid.
